Hip Arthrogram

Lateral Approach 

45 degrees with thigh

Just inferior and anterior to Greater trochanter

Advance the needle  - 5 -10 cm , enter joint medially.


Medial Approach

Needle insertion inferior to adductor longus

advance below femoral artery to head and neck .
